The Miners Arms is a friendly, family run pub situated in the heart of Brassington, right on the edge of the beautiful Peak District and just a mile or so from some of the areas most popular attractions. With a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills, cascading along the horizon. Brassington is perfect for holiday making, walking, cycling and, of course, relaxing at The Miners Arms.
We serve a great selection of home cooked food, served in the traditional way, and accompanied by a range of hot and cold drinks and a selection of ales, lagers, ciders, spirits and wines.
Specials are served every day and we have a programme of different events and themed nights to ensure there is always something different happening.

We serve a selection of wholesome, traditional classic dishes, some with a modern twist, prepared with local ingredients and freshly cooked - all served the traditional way and accompanied by a great selection of hot and cold drinks, real ales, lagers, ciders and gins.
Our ethos is that we don't serve fast food we serve good food as fast as we can.
We always have a selection of homemade snacks and cakes available and have specials available for lunch and evening meals.
Breakfast and take away (delivered) breakfasts are available Thursday to Sunday during the winter months and everyday but Mondays during the summer.

Nestled in the mid-Derbyshire hills between Ashbourne and Wirksworth, Brassington sits in splendid isolation, just off the main road. It's 900-year-old Church of St James perched on the hillside welcoming all visitors to this wonderful village
Brassington is a unique place. it may feel like a typical Peak District village but its location marks the transition from the White Peak to the south Derbyshire plains.
The hills around are unquestionably unique with their striking rocky outcrops and clumps of hardy trees hiding both the caves and hollows that have yielded evidence of occupation in Iron Age and Roman times.
A sizeable village of 240 households and just under 600 permanent residents it is a tranquil but active village. The backdrop in spring, when the hills are carpeted with dandelions, buttercups, cowslips, harebells and orchids, is a sight definitely to be seen.
